Lazy, Hazy Days

There are some days, when Mommy and I just feel like staying home and chill in the A/C. Mommy realizes she will have to go back to school soon, so she wants to spend as much time as she can with me. Today we went swimming, after I took an hour nap. Mommy was hoping for another nap later in the afternoon. We came home and mommy dressed me in the Indians outfit. She said, maybe I will bring them some luck. I played for awhile, then I got cranky. Mommy picked me up and I fell asleep on her lap. I know she took a little nap too. After my nap, mommy gave me a bottle and sat on the floor with me. It was a very quiet day, and I liked that.

Rainy Day and a Kitty!

A Rainy Afternoon

Uh - Oh, Mommy is in trouble! I have really started to crawl. She is very proud of me, but she knows she is in trouble. I crawl everywhere now. Mommy has been baby - proofing the house all week. She has eyes in the back of her head, it is amazing. She is always there when I tumble over or I look a little shaky. Mommy put a blanket on the tile, because she is afraid I will fall backwards, and I did - but I am okay! She has to put the trash bag outside now, because I joined her in the kitchen. I am doing pretty good though - mommy says I am pretty sturdy. Mommy will continue to baby - proof the house :)

Guess what else I did today? I stood up for the first time. Daddy has a case of V-8 cans by the kitchen and I used that to stand up. Of course, Mommy was right there, because I tumbled a little. She was so proud of me, I am not sure why - but she said it was a BIG accomplishment. I like to make Mommy happy.

Oh and one more thing - the kitties are scared :) They keep running away from me. I crawl to meet them and they take the higher ground. I think I wore them out today. If I see a kitty, I can get to them now.

I am going to curl up in my crib and snuggle with my bear :) Have a good night! Niko

7 Months Old!

Mommy is always sad when I turn another month old. She cannot believe how fast I am growing. Mommy tells me everyday, how she loves me and enjoys being at home with me during the summer. Mommy did get a really good babysitter for the Fall, and grammy will be taking me a couple times during the week. Mommy told me she wants me to have the best babysitter while she is at work. We already know that I have two EXCELLENT grandmas; they take really good care of me!

On Saturday(my 7 month b-day), Daddy, Mommy and I did not do very much. Mommy and I took a trip to Target and bought formula and onesies. My mommy said they have the dog Pluto on them. Who is Pluto? Mommy tried to explain Pluto to me, but I was getting sleepy. Some new things I learned to do in the past week : Sitting up straight, Talking, crawling, and I started eating meat from a jar. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of me!

On Tuesday, we are going to visit Daddy at work and then go to a craft store. I want to visit Daddy but I really don't want to go the craft store. Mommy is the driver, so I have no say.

Mommy told me if I took a good morning nap, we would visit the Park. I did take a good morning nap, so we were able to visit the Park. This was the first time we went to the Park. I had a great time on the swings. My favorite part was pulling the grass. I loved pulling the grass and Mommy did not yell at me. There were some loud boys fishing that caught my attention a couple of times. Mommy finished our visit with giving me a nice cold bottle of apple juice. Mommy told me that we had to make a stop at the grocery store, but I don't remember much. I was asleep, until we got home. Enjoy the pictures! Niko

I am so sorry I am so late with starting a blog. Since we have family and friends all over the U.S., I decided to do a blog about Nicholas. This will be my only entry.
