Hi Everyone,

My behavior has gotten better. Mommy thinks it was because we had visitors in town and my daddy came home - all in one week. Things have settled down and my behavior has gotten better. We still take it day by day with my behavior, but Mommy has seen improvement.

I love to get dirty! My response to all the dirt - that's okay, because I will take a bath tonight. Mommy thinks it is funny when I say this. Sometimes we have bath time battles, but when I poop or play in the dirt - I always say, " I need a bath".
On Sunday, I told Mommy my tummy hurt after I ate some ice cream. She told me to poop and I did. I felt better because I went outside and played. Then it was bedtime, and I was downstairs getting juice from Daddy, and then all of the sudden I threw up! Daddy called Mommy and she cleaned it up. I was sorry and felt bad that I threw up. We think it was something I ate or that I was running around like a crazy boy! When Mommy closed my door, I talked to my pillow pets, and told them that I needed a bath because I got sick.

Well, it is time for me to go to Miss Kathie's. Mommy is meeting with a preschool parent. She also tells me that it is good for me to play with other kids. I get quite attached to my Mommy. Have a good day!! Love, Niko

Hello Summer!

Hi Everyone,


Summer vacation has begun! Last Friday, Mommy and I went to see turtle Tuck at the nature center. We had a good time. I also got my haircut that day. It was nice to spend some one on one time with Mommy. Mommy has been trying very hard to keep things consistent and normal. Sometimes it works :)

Starting last Friday, my behavior has changed. I turned 3 1/2 on Father's day and for some reason my attitude has changed and not for the better. I have been crabby, refusing naps, and I talk back to my parents. We are not having happy times right now. I still have my moments when I can be really good. It could be the change in the household with Jacob or it's just my age. Mommy hopes it changes soon. She actually sent me to Miss Kathie's yesterday. I need to be around other kids and not become to clingy to Mommy, which I have.

We had a pretty busy week. Everyone is home now! People are coming over and visiting baby Jacob and my family. David, one of my friends came over with his Mommy. Uncle Dave was also in town. Grandpa Tony came to visit us for a week. Things are settling down now, maybe my behavior will too.

Mommy and I have not had a day out this week. Maybe next week. Time for nap - if I go down for one ;) Have a good weekend! Love, Niko

Hi Everyone,

Mommy has been using one word a lot lately. That word is BEST. She has told me many times that I have been on my best behavior. I am doing the best. Mommy likes to use that word, especially when she is talking about me. Don't tell Jacob, but I think I am the favorite (best) son
;)

I am doing very well with becoming the big brother. With Jacob not coming home right away, Mommy thinks that helped some and it got me prepared for what was coming. I am a very big helper. Sometimes, I can be the best helper and sometimes I am not. I like to do things my way, and Mommy has to remind me that I can't do it my way all the time. I like to hold Jacob, and Mommy is right there. I put the melmo (pacifier) in Jacobs mouth. Sometimes, I go upstairs and get Mommy a diaper - that's only when I feel like it. Mommy is very proud of the way I have been handling things.

Once a week, Mommy and I will have a day out. Mommy does not want to miss those kinds of days with me. Sometimes, we get stuck in the house, because Jacob is too small to go anywhere. Mommy does not want to expose him to any germs. This Friday, we are going to see Turtle Tuck and go on our nature walk. I am very excited. You can bet there will be pictures.
