I'm a big boy now!

Hi Everyone,


We are going to make it official. I am potty trained! I have not peed in my underwear for two weeks! We are still working on number 2 - that is hit or miss, but Mommy thinks that will come with time. Poor Mommy! She doesn't like to be the clean up crew on that job! Mommy is so excited to have only one in diapers!!! Once the overnight pull ups are gone - it's underwear at night!!

Behavior is okay. I still have my days. I have been protesting naps. Mommy calls it quiet time. This is the time Mommy tries to nap :) Sometimes, I fall asleep or I just play in my room. We started to use the community pool a lot more, and I am having a great time!! Swim lessons in the Fall or winter - very excited :)

On Tuesday, I had a growth appointment. I grew an inch!! A bone aging scan was done on my hand and I am still slightly delayed by a year and some months, but the doctor said we are going in the right direction.

Hi Everyone,

Last Friday we took our first official family of four outing to the Zoo. We all survived. We had fun. I was a little crabby and didn't want to listen, but lately that is how I have been everyday. As Mommy has said before, we take it day by day with my behavior. We will be very excited when December 19th comes around and I become 4 years old. Mommy has heard that year 4 is way better than year 3 :)

We are going to say this quietly, but I think I am potty trained. Not 100 % but at least 85 %. Mommy does not put pull ups on me anymore during the day. I have had some accidents in my underwear, but I am getting better about that. I cry in the morning if Mommy does not open my bedroom door. I have to go potty! I don't want to go in my overnight pull up (which has been dry). I go sit on the potty and I pee for at least 30 seconds or more :) Mommy is always impressed. I have gone poop twice on the potty. Mommy was surprised this morning when I told her. Again, she was way impressed with my potty habits! May the potty training continue with positive vibes. Preschool here I come!!

Speaking of Preschool, Mommy thinks I very ready. It may be one of the reasons why I am acting the way I am. I need stimulation in the learning atmosphere (not saying Mommy doesn't work with me) and make friends. I am way too dependent on Mommy. I am extremely attached to her. We are having a good summer, but changes are upon us :)

Pool time!

Hi Everyone,

Mommy was trying to be creative and she changed the color on her phone camera. We think they came out kind of neat. Do you like my new pool? I got the pool for a reason........... I pooped on the potty. I just went into the bathroom, did not announce that I had to go, just sat on the potty and did my business. My mommy was so proud of me. That was the only time I pooped on the potty but it's a start. I am getting much better about going pee - pee on the potty. I wore underwear all day Saturday, and did not have one accident. I also wore underwear yesterday and did not have an accident. I am getting ready for preschool!

We have been pretty busy. We had a lot of fun on the 4th of July weekend. We went to David's house (Monica and Steven are his parents :) ) and I ran around the whole time. I slept really good on Monday night. We went to Ahmi's house on 4th of July and I feel asleep at 7:30pm and woke up at 7:45am on Tuesday. I slept over Ahmi's house because Mommy and Daddy took Jacob to the eye doctor.

Behavior is still hit and miss. I still have moments, and we are trying to get it corrected. Mommy thinks once I start preschool, things will start to change.

On Friday, I think we are going to the Zoo. Mommy talked about going. It will be fun! There will be pictures :) Have a good Wednesday!! Love, Niko
