Greeting's Niko Fans,

Last Sunday, Mommy, Daddy, and I went to Brecksville Metro park (where Mommy and I go on hikes) to the Fall Festival. I got to ride a bus for the first time! I was a very good boy on the way there. I thought we would see Thomas at the Fall Fest and Mommy said we would - but I thought she was lying. On the way back to the car, we got on the bus and there was a little boy on the bus, and he was wearing a Thomas shirt! Mommy says, "See I told you we would see Thomas." Overall, the Fall Fest was okay. Not too much for me to do, but it was family time, and that is all that matters!

I have been a pretty good boy this week. A couple times this week, I turned into a poop at 7pm. It might just be tiredness setting in. I also mentioned some monsters, but Mommy and Daddy reassured me that were no monsters! Ahmi bought me a fish tank that lights up. We keep that on at night too. Sophie thinks it's pretty cool too. Night time is still okay, and I have sleeping through the night, like a champ. I also like to be tucked in - which Mommy loves this idea.

Mommy has been asking me my favorites lately. Here are a few: Favorite kitty: last week, Cleo; this week, Sophie. Favorite Engine: Last week, Percy; This week, Thomas.
Mommy will try to do another blog this week. We feel bad that we missed a few days last week. Mommy had progress reports to do, so we should have more time.

Just Because

Hi Everyone,

There hasn't been too much going on. Now that Mommy is back at work and our schedule during the week hasn't changed, Mommy and I work on getting stuff done for the next day. We save the weekends for the fun stuff! Mommy took some action shots a couple of weeks ago - I am still loving Thomas!! I watch Thomas every chance I get. Mommy found a really neat website, and we go on that twice a day. Mommy bought me a new engine (James) and we play with him outside, or Mommy let's me play with him before my nap. I wear Thomas PJs. and every morning I wake up, I ask about Thomas and say "choo - choo". If Daddy wakes me up, the first question I ask is, "Where is Mommy?"

The reason I got James, is because I have been a good boy all week. My behavior is stunning - according to Mommy. She is thrilled that my behavior has improved. I still have my moments. I do not like to be messed with. I don't want to wear pants when we go somewhere. Let me choose the shirt I want to wear, and if it hasn't been washed yet - who cares? Well, Mommy cares and she makes me put the pants on and a new shirt. She gets me every time though. She tells me there are Thomas colors in my new shirt.

Well, I need to go down for my nap. Today we are going to the Fall Festival in the Metro parks. Mommy is going to try to take pictures :) Love, Niko

Hi Everyone,

Mommy and I still enjoy getting the mail everyday. Mommy really likes taking me outside. Sometimes she is too tired to take me out after a long day at school, but with my charm - we usually make it outside for a little while. We have a new adventure. After we get the mail and go down the hill to look at the river, we stop at the "apple orchard". It is actually the driveway to our condo - but it's a lot of fun! I stop at every tree and pick berries (I call them apples) and leaves. Sometimes, I add pine cones to the mix. After I pick them, Mommy and I take them to be prepped :) Mommy makes me count the berries and they are added to the dirt by the garage. I have a good time doing this and Mommy is happy that we are getting some Math in too!

I have been a GREAT boy all week. Mommy has not really disciplined me all week. I was good for both grandmas, and my mood was excellent in the morning for Daddy and at night for Mommy. Mommy did have a meeting to go to on Tuesday night, and I was really good for Daddy. I am having some sleeping issues, but it's Mommy's fault this time. I have to be rocked every night or I will cry :) Mommy doesn't really mind because she thinks it calms me down before I go to sleep. We always have a minute of conversation and then I am usually falling asleep. Mommy thinks it's kind of like a story before bed. I also changed my bedtime to 8pm. It is working really well. Mommy is always amazed on how I change my bedtime with no problem. Mommy realized this week, that I am a little boy now, and not her baby. I am learning so much and I have so much to say!

Hi Everyone,

Mommy wanted to make sure she included all of our summer shots. We "think" summer is coming to a close. The Fall weather has been around for a couple of days, and we are loving it. Mommy is not a big fan of the 90 degree weather, especially when she goes back to school. These pictures were taken right before Mommy started going back to work. We love to hang out in the yard. This day, I felt shorts were optional for playing outside :)

I have been a really good boy this week. Mommy caught the bug this weekend. She had it a lot longer than I. Mommy had a fever and felt crummy for three days! I was extra good for her though. She is so proud of her little boy in so many ways. Ahmi got me some Thomas tracks, and I am really enjoying those. I play with those, while I watch the new videos that Baba got me :) Miss Kathie taught me "Ring around the Rosy". Mommy and I have a good time with Knock - knock jokes. We are having a good time this week. On Saturday, Ahmi, Mommy and I are going to the back to school picnic at Mommy's school. I had a blast last year, and this year should be the same.

Hi Everyone,

Last Saturday, Mommy, Ahmi and I went to the Columbus Zoo. Mommy was getting together with her best friends from College. Her friends live in Cincinnati and Dayton, so they try to get together at least twice a year. We had a great time. I wasn't in the best mood. I threw a couple temper tantrums, but it was a good time. It was also hot! My favorite part was the fishies. Mommy knew I would love those guys. As she has said before, I get my love of fish from my Poppy.

We had a very interesting week. My behavior was pretty good. We are finally on the "normal" school schedule. I decided on Wednesday night to shake up things. I had my first projectile vomit sick. I was acting fine up until I did it. I told Mommy and Baba that my tummy hurt, but I wanted apple juice. As Mommy went into the kitchen and I went to Baba, I threw up all over her! Not once but five times!! Baba had to change shirts twice. Mommy had to do two loads of wash. I threw up for a good hour, but after that - I felt yucky, but I fell asleep. We have discovered that Mommy is VERY afraid of my sickness. She is going to try to get better about it. I was calling for her when I was getting sick. Thank goodness Baba and Daddy were there. Eventually, Mommy did hold me for a little bit and then put me to bed. I was out for the rest of the night. The next day I was better - I even ate a little for Baba. Mommy thinks I got this bug from the Zoo. There were a lot of kids in the fish place. Now, Baba and Papa are sick!

I am much better now. Mommy and I had a wonderful Saturday. We had a better afternoon than morning, but Mommy will take it. There is one problem though, I did something with Mommy's camera and I won't tell her where it is. I showed her where it should be, but it wasn't in the drawer.

Well, I need to go to bed. Have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!! Love, Niko
