The Wheels on the bus.....

Hi Everyone,

Mommy is very surprised that she has not blogged about "bus"! Seeing, how Mommy and Daddy met at Cleveland Southeastern Trails - Bus Company. Mommy saw Daddy for the first time in 2002. For her, it was love at first sight, but for Daddy it took a couple of years :) Mommy and Daddy cleaned these big buses during the winter. Daddy works in the office now, and Mommy stays home with me - when not teaching. Daddy used to drive these big buses.

On the weekends, we visit Daddy - actually we visit the bus. I always hold Mommy's hand when we go in the garage. That's a rule. Mommy let's me push a button on the bus, and the door opens! It's like Magic!! I love seeing the buses. One day, Mommy even showed me my great grandpa's picture. She was surprised that I was looking at the old pictures.

I have been a very good boy this week. For some reason, my behavior turns to poop on Saturdays. This is the second Saturday where Mommy isn't very happy with me. I protested my nap, and had a few temper tantrums (ok, not a few - ALOT). After my nap - Mommy may take me to the park.

Mommy did get a call from the Specialist's nurse this week. She said I was a year behind in my growing. Mommy asked all the right questions, talked to Daddy - and they decided to do the shots. Mommy thought she would have to wait a few weeks to hear from the insurance company to approve my shots (they are VERY expensive) but they called on Friday, and we were approved. Bad part(s) - Mommy and Daddy have to give me the shots, and I have to have them 7 days a week. Once the medicine is delivered at our house (isn't that nice?), A nurse will show Mommy how to do the shots. I think once we get the hang of it - everyone will be fine. These shots replace a hormone that is missing in my body. If I never get these shots, I might not make it to my "true" height. We have to do it now - as I get older, the shots won't work. There are no side effects, and the shots are natural (no steroids). Mommy promised me a toy every week. That's the good part :)

I think I am finally getting sleepy for my nap. I put up a good fight for Mommy today. I am also not feeling well. I have a cough - again. Mommy says if it comes back again, I may have to go the doctor. Can't this woman just leave me alone?! Just kidding - I love my Mommy :) Have a good Weekend!! Love, Niko

Mail Call

My rock!
Showing Mommy how to open the "box"

This way to the mailbox
Hi Niko Fans,
We have been having some Internet problems, so Mommy and I could not update the blog. The nice cable man told us that a mouse chewed through the cords. We are on a temporary wire right now, but Mommy doesn't care - she has Internet again!
Since I'm having a difficult time adjusting to the move, Mommy decided to start new routines. One of our favorite routines right now is getting the mail. Since the weather is getting nicer, Mommy and I can go get the mail. We also go the long way home. Getting the mail can take 15 minutes. I like to run down a big hill and visit peoples patios. Pretty soon we will go on our walks again. Mommy and I really enjoy our walks.
I have been an okay boy. The temper tantrums - terrible twos have really hit. I usually save my fits for Mommy. Daddy got to witness a few today. Anything sets me off. Hopefully, they won't last long. I am saying more and more words that Mommy and Daddy understand. They still have to watch what they say. I will be 28 months on Monday! WOW :) I am becoming more independent. A little too independent - Mommy thinks.
Sunday, we are going to visit Uncle Dave - who is in town for a couple of days. Have a wonderful weekend!! Love, Niko

Silly!

Hi Everyone,

Mommy took some silly pictures of me with her camera phone. She did not have her other camera handy, so excuse the quality of these pictures :) I was in the mood to wear my shirt a different way. Mommy thought it was too cute.

Mommy's Spring Break went too fast. We have been going back and forth to the house. We still have some stuff there, and Mommy has been doing some cleaning over there too. We also have a cat over there. He didn't want to come back with us - now we are in the process of bringing him back home. I have been a really good boy with the moving and going 45 minutes each way to help clean.

On Thursday, Mommy took me to the specialist for my height. They have decided to give me Growth Hormone Treatment - which means SHOTS! My body needs a little push to grow. Because I was soo small when I was I born - my body isn't catching up the way it is suppose to. I have to go see the specialist in four months and see if I have grown, and if the shots helped.

On Friday, Mommy wanted to do something really special with me - but I had other plans. I was in a mood. I did not want to change my clothes and I threw some pretty good fits. After my nap, I was better. I have days like these. Mommy thinks my mood was out of sorts because of the doctor visit and the Move.

I like to say "mon" - Come on. When Mommy was trying to catch "JoJo" last Saturday - she kept saying "C'mon JoJo" and I was repeating her. Mommy says "C'mon" quite a bit :) My night time routine is getting better. I am still not use to the bath and bedtime, but we are working on it, and it has improved.

We might try to go to the playground today. I have to take a really good nap - and right now I am protesting my nap! :) Have a wonderful weekend! Love, Niko

Hi Everyone,
Mommy is very sorry for not updating the blog. We should be back to the normal routine now. My family doesn't want to make a big deal out of it, but we had to move back to the condo. We won't go into the details, but we are sad that we had to move back. Now the move is half over, we should be more on a schedule. Mommy is on Spring break this week - so I get some special time with her. I have been a real good boy, with the move and stuff. We moved back to the condo last Friday. I am having some sleeping issues, but they are getting better. I have to be carried up the stairs now. Remember when I wanted to walk to my room, holding Mommy's hand? Well, we don't do that anymore. Trying to figure out the new night routine will take some time, but we will get it. I also heard Mommy is leaving me Tuesday night to go watch Daddy bowl, so I may cause some problems for my Babysitter Mary Anne. We shall see......
We didn't take any special pictures of the move, because this move wasn't as special - like the last one :) Mommy told Daddy, that we are never moving again, but Daddy convinced her to move one more time - and she told Daddy, not for a loooong time. The kitties are doing real well, moving back to the condo. It's Mommy and I that are having the hardest time.
Easter was nice. I was kind of in a mood - with all the activities going on this weekend. I got to see some of my second cousins and family on Saturday for a retirement party. I think I was the most active one. I kept Mommy and sometimes Daddy running! On Sunday, we took it easy. Mommy and I attempted to go to church, but my behavior wasn't the greatest. We left early, and I took a nap. Baba and Grandpa came over and we out to eat. I ate a whole bowl of Spaghetti. Everyone could not believe how much I ate. I haven't been eating real well during the day. I am not sick - just not hungry. Grammy, Grampy, Baba, and Grandpa are all coming over tonight - to celebrate a second Easter. Grammy's back had an owie and wasn't able to celebrate Easter with us. Jess and Cady (the dogs) are coming over too.
Mommy will do a few updates this week. We are having a very special day on Friday!!! Have a good week!! Love, Niko
