Big Brother!!

Hi Everyone,


I am a big brother now! I still haven't met baby brother Jacob, but Mommy promised me that I would get to meet baby Jacob today. He is still in the hospital, so I can only visit for about 5 minutes or however long my good behavior lasts. Mommy gives it about 5 minutes.


I have been an EXCELLENT boy this past week. My schedule has been off, but I did not let that bother me. The last time I saw Mommy was the Sunday night before Mommy had Jacob. I saw Mommy for a little bit on Tuesday at the hospital, but she stayed there until Friday. We missed each other very much. Mommy and Daddy cannot believe how matured I have become. They do not know if it is because they haven't seen me much or with everything going on - I grew up a little bit. I still have my moments, but my vocabulary has really expanded. Mommy and Daddy are very proud of me.

I am going to be a good big brother and I can't wait for Jacob to come home!!!

A Day out with Thomas!!

Hi Everyone,

Oops! We did it again. We went a few weeks without blogging. We are very sorry. Mommy has been so wiped out lately. She is still teaching full time and then she comes home and takes care of me and the house. Mommy is 9 months pregnant! I have been pretty good for the past two weeks. It seems that I have one bad week and one good week. My naps have been so shaky lately. Mommy noticed that naps stopped last weekend. She found me in my window playing with the blinds. That scared her a little, and she hasn't put me upstairs since. Potty training is still stalled. Mommy keeps pushing me, and I go when she puts me on the potty, but I won't tell her when I have to go. I will tell Miss Kathie that I have to go when I see other kids doing it. Mommy and Daddy went to their first Preschool meeting a few weeks ago, and Mommy is secretly wishing, that I will be potty trained by September. We really like that school!

Today, Ahmi, Mommy, and I went to see Thomas!! This was a BIG day for me. I loved seeing that engine. We got to ride on him. I played with some engines, and I got a new backpack, balloon, puzzle and a shirt. We had a great time. I would not eat breakfast for Mommy and I was hungry mid way through the event. Hopefully, next year we can stay longer.

Well, I am very tired. Mommy will try to blog more, she has pictures of my new room! Have a great weekend :) Love, Niko
