My Daddy (and the Steelers)!

Hi Everyone!

Mommy has taken a lot of pictures during the past two weeks, so there is a bonus blog this week! The Super Bowl was a couple of weeks ago, but Daddy and I like to watch football. We shout touchdown quite a bit. Mommy has no comment about Football. She is outnumbered now, and even more so when Jacob arrives. Thank goodness she has a girl kitty!!

On Super Bowl Sunday, Baba stayed for awhile and we ate some pizza. I made a mess. Mommy has pictures of that too, but she decided to leave it out of this blog. There was no nap this day, so I was asleep by 7:15. Mommy loved that part! Daddy said I didn't miss too much when I fell asleep. The Steelers lost, and daddy was cleaning out litter boxes and watching a movie.

My Daddy and I have an interesting relationship according to Mommy :) I love my daddy, but I don't show it to him all the time. I have a hard time giving hugs and kisses. Because I am Nicholas A. - I only do it on my terms and when I feel like it. Daddy is very affectionate and wishes I was too. I more like my Mommy in this area :) Every morning when Mommy comes into my room, I ask where is my daddy. If Daddy is home (which is a Sunday) and I get very excited to see him. When we go to Church, I have to be with Mommy and Daddy. One or the other doesn't work for me! I have to have both. I get VERY upset when I don't see my daddy at church or he is singing in the choir. I will save another blog for my Mommy and the kind of relationship we have. Mommy is hoping that Jacob will develop the same kind of bond with Daddy, that I have with Mommy.

Niko the Artist

Hi Everyone!

It has been awhile since our last blog! Mommy has been busy with grades and conferences. I also broke her computer for a couple of days. We are still in our winter slump, and spend our winter days at home. It has been too cold to go out and play, which I am not a big fan of. We had a little warm up yesterday and Ahmi took me to the playground and I loved it!

I like to do watercolor paints. It involves water, so of course this is my favorite art project at home. Sometimes, we come home and paint. Mommy doesn't turn the TV on right away anymore.

I have been a pretty good boy. I only give Mommy some problems. I have been very attached to her. I mention baby Jacob more and more everyday. I told Mommy that she has a Baby in her tummy. My language has gotten so much better. I like to put words into sentences and give Mommy orders. Mommy is working on my new room and she cleaned out all my toys. They were such a mess! (as you can see in the last picture)

Mommy enrolled me into Preschool for next Fall. I really liked going to the Open House last Saturday. Potty training is progressing. I go when I want too. Mommy doesn't want to push me, but she might have to give me a little push to go on the potty more during the day.
I am also coming down with my first cold for the winter season. I woke up Saturday morning with the sneezes. It came on pretty quick and we hope it goes away quickly too.

Hi Everyone!

Mommy spent two days last week at home with me. One day was no fun, because I had blood taken, but the other day was fun, because it was a snow day for Mommy. We had a good time. After my nap- we went outside and played in the snow. It was getting really cold so we only stayed out for 15 minutes. I still had a good time. I give Mommy a hard time about putting on my winter gear, but then I am okay.

I was a good boy this week. Baba got to watch me this past Thursday. We went to our usual spots and then came home. I have a new fave. I really like Toy Story. Thomas is still pretty neat, but we watch Toy Story now. Mommy actually got me away from the videos of Thomas and we read about him in my books. Mommy has to tell me a story every night about an engine.

I have had three moments toward the end of the week. Saturdays are a little rough for us right now. Mommy doesn't know why, but she hopes they improve! Next Saturday, Mommy is going to register me for Pre- School - Yikes!! I am ready, but we are not sure if Mommy is ready. It will be hard on her, especially since she can't drop me off or pick me up :( I will love School. I am a smart boy!!
