Hi Everyone,

We have been non-stop busy since we have moved into the house. Daddy had a couple late nights last week, but I did not notice because we were still working on me getting used to my new room. By the time Daddy got home - I was out like a light ;) I am used to my room now. I have been getting up an hour after bedtime, but Mommy thinks it is because I am too hyped up before bed, or I might hear the TV in the bedroom. Mommy rocks me for a few minutes and then I go right back to sleep.

I am still a little sick. I keep having a runny nose and coughing. I am actually losing my voice. Mommy gave me some Motrin to ward off those nasty germies. Next Saturday, Mommy and I will go to a new Pedi's office. Mommy is not too thrilled with my doctor now, so she is looking forward to meeting some new doctors.

This weekend, Grandpa Tony came to visit. I finally warmed up to him on Sunday - a day before he left. He is a pretty funny guy. I was a little too excited with him, because there were times when I did not watch my manners. I was also very tired on Sunday. I only had a 45 min. nap. Mommy thinks we need to work on these naps a little more. A 45 min. nap is not long enough for a 20 month old.

The pictures up top are from my new backyard. Mommy made me wear a jacket today. It was windy and cool - plus my throat is a little raspy, she is worried I might get even sicker. I had a good time. I think Mommy and I will have fun this Fall - picking up nuts, apples, and pears.

Hi Everyone,

I gave my parents a really nice moving present..... my cold. Grammy also caught it. Mommy feels awful, and I have decided to protest my sleep at night and at naptime. Mommy wanted to take a nap soo bad, but I would not let her. I heard her tell Daddy that she laid down on the futon at the condo. If she did not do take a little snooze, she would have struggled making it back home. I am glad Mommy took a little break - she needed to be rested up for my bedtime battle.

As you can see, my new bedroom is very nice. It is so much better than the one at a condo. My grammy said, it actually looks like a bedroom ;) Mommy was honored that she said that. I know the blinds are by my crib - and Mommy makes sure the cord is always out of reach. Mommy had to capture the right angle of my bedroom, because what you don't see - is a big rip in the changing pad, and whole bunch of bags by the closet ;)

We are very happy to be living in Grandma's house. Mommy tells Baba and Daddy that she thinks the bedrooms could be in Martha Stewart's magazine - with a little work of course.

I am feeling a little better, but my nose is still stuffed up. I am giving Mommy a hard time about sleeping. Tonight she put in two nite lights, and well they didn't really work. A shot of Motrin did the trick, because I have a raspy throat and still stuffed up. Mommy is going to take her medicine and then it will be lights out at the Balyeat's. Hello Niko Fans,

My Mommy apologizes for not blogging. I remind Mommy everyday to update the blog. She has been a little busy with the move and School - so I might let the blog slide this time. Mommy did have a very a rough week. She started her School meetings and at night, she packed up the condo or went to the house to get ready for Saturday's Move. Mommy will update the Blog more this week. We have a little more time :) Mommy's first day of School is August 26th. We are very sad that our summer is coming to an end. We will have fun in the Fall too.

The Move went very well. Mommy was a little angry that the movers were almost an hour late - but overall, they did a good job. I did catch a nasty cold yesterday. I have been sneezing a lot. Some of the sneezes hurt and I cry a little. Mommy and the Grandmas feel bad that I feel horrible. Since I felt horrible, I gave Mommy a REAL hard time while she was packing up the condo this morning. I took a pretty good nap in the afternoon, and had a hard time falling a sleep tonight.

Well, it has been a long day. We will blog again before School starts!! Love, Niko

Yo, what's up?

Greetings Niko Fans,

We had a hot one today! I like these kind of days when Mommy and I can stay inside and relax. We needed to do that today. We did have to go get the oil change in Mommy's car - and it was hot in that garage. We were going to play in the pool, but Mommy decided to stay in the A/C instead. I was a good boy today, and Mommy always enjoys our Sundays together - even during the school year.

We have been busy. Mommy went to the new house alot this week. Baba Christine and Mommy got ready for the big Estate / Garage Sale. It was this past weekend, but they decided to do another weekend. Saturday it rained all day. Grammy and I visited Baba and Mommy on Saturday. I did take a nap, but I was still tired - and when I am tired, I bite! I was put in timeout 3 times for biting. I don't bite Mommy, so timeout is working for her - but I bite others

:( I will get better, I promise.

Mommy is going to her classroom on Monday, and doing some more house stuff. It will be another busy week. We will try to another post during the week. Have a great week!!! Love, Niko

Hi Everyone,

Mommy and I continue to be busy with getting the condo ready. I have been a very good boy, and letting Mommy get things done around the condo. If I want her attention though, I do let her know, and Mommy stops for awhile on that project. Mommy is very sad to see the summer coming to an end. We have had a great summer. We love going to the playground. We try to go twice a week, but usually only make it once. Last week, we went to Solon and played on a playground that was made from recycleable materials. Mommy and I did find a playground that will be very close to our house. I loved it, and it is close to the lake!!

Mommy has really been enjoying my behavior lately. Next week, we are going to try to go to the Zoo again. Grampy said it will rain ;) No matter how busy Mommy is, she always makes time for me sometime during the day - whether it is going outside, swimming or the playground, Mommy and I need that time. Then we watch a little PBS, so we can chill out. I do not do an afternoon nap, so I need some quiet time. I think she is a pretty good Mommy!

On Sunday. we got home a little late from shopping, so Mommy made me something quick for dinner. I do like Mac and Cheese. I tried very hard to eat with my fork. Mommy says, when I concentrate very hard - I look just like my Daddy - which is okay by me!
