Greetings Niko Fans,

I am feeling much better now. I am still a little crabby and clingy, but making a tooth is hard work. Probably in a couple days, Mommy will see the tooth I am working on and be amazed, like she always is when I have a new tooth. If she only knew how much work and pain I go through..... On Monday, Mommy did some cleaning, and I gave her a hard time about it - so her closet still needs some work ;) My room is done though - I did manage to give her some time to work on my room. Last night, we visited Baba Christine at Great Grandma Julia's house. We had to drop off some tables. I was a good boy. I love to explore! Then Daddy told Mommy that he left his car keys at the condo. So, Mommy and I had to go back to the condo and get Daddy's keys, then go to the bus garage and give them to him. We were in the car for an hour and a half, and I did very well. It helped that Mommy slipped me a cracker :) I did not go to bed until 9:30pm. I woke up this morning a little before 7am and took my nap at 9am. Mommy and I are going to Babies R Us and Michael's (a craft store). We may see Grammy.

Mommy told me to put in the special announcement in my 19 month blog. Most people know now. We are moving. We are getting out of the condo, and moving into Great Grandma Julia's house. Mommy and Daddy are excited. They have a lot of work to do, but it is worth it. We know Great Grandma Julia is thrilled that we will take care of her house. Great Grandma Julia and her husband Christ, built that house. Mommy feels happy that the house can stay in the family, and have a family live in it and love it :) Blogs maybe a sporatic, esp. when we move. Daddy is working on the internet provider there. We promise to blog as much as we can. Mommy needs her internet!

My 19 month stats : No weight check this time. I go in a couple weeks for my weight check. I am talking more. I am very active! The temper tantrums have subsided for a while. I still pinch and bite - but this has been ongoing. I feed myself very well. I like to be independent. I am very curious. I concentrate very hard on things. I have become very attached to my Daddy.

Hi Everyone,


Sorry, but Mommy did not send any pictures to her e-mail, so we have none for this blog. Mommy promises to a special blog on Monday, and finally update my 19 month stats. :) I will be 20 months by the time Mommy completes the 19 month blog. I am feeling much better. I did not have one fever on Friday, so Mommy did not have to take me to the Doctor. I still had the poops on Saturday though. Mommy and Daddy said my dipes smelled like skunk!! I have three diaper changes on Saturday morning and two in the afternoon. After those changes though - I ate dinner like a champ. I love pasta!! I had a very busy weekend again. We went to great grandma Julia's house and cleaned out a closet and such. I was loving the pens I found in the room. They kept me busy for a half n hour. Then I fell asleep on Baba Christine. Everyone agreed it was a much needed nap. My sleep is better. I slept for 12 hours on Thursday. For some reason, I got up at 545am this morning, and was crabby until naptime. Today. we went to the Parade in Solon. I had a great time - some trucks were too loud, and I got a little scared, but Grammy picked me up. Look for 2 special blogs this week. Have a good Monday!!! Fast Asleep on Daddy

Hi Everyone,

Usually, I do not type, but Niko is a little under the weather. We have had a rough week. It started on Saturday, when Niko was very clingy. It continued on Sunday, when we decided to go out for dinner and he was horrible. Monday was not much better - he was just not acting like Niko. Tuesday was a little better, but when we came home from shopping he felt warm. We took his temp and it was 101. I noticed a tooth broke through and maybe working on another one or two. Another fever popped up the next day, but seemed to better. When Chris and I got home from Bocce, the sitter said, Niko just got warm. Took his temp and it was 102.6. My poor baby!! He was up for most of the night, very restless. He ate a few pretzels and drank some water at 11pm. I really think it's his teeth - there may be more than one popping through. On Thursday, we had a few fevers, but one that is lasting awhile. With these fevers, they pop up quick and leave quick. We are going to the doctor on Friday. They say three days of fever, they need to see him - we are on day 2 1/2. We will bring back an update. Sorry, no pictures this week for his 19 month blog. We will try again next week!!! Hi Everyone.

Summer is going by so quick. Mommy and I have been pretty busy. For awhile, our afternoons would drag, but now we can't believe how quickly the day goes by. That means Mommy will be starting school again. We are enjoying our summer together.

I had a pretty busy weekend. On Friday, Mommy, Grammy, and I tried to go to the Zoo. We went, and I was in a GREAT mood - but then it rained. We are not talking about a 5 minute sprinkle. It was a downpour that lasted an hour. I was actually looking at the funny pink birds and Mommy thought I might be a good boy, well - we never found out - because we were there for 10 minutes and left. We might go again in a couple weeks.

On Saturday, we went to Great Grandma Julia's house. We are starting to clean up and move things around. I was a very good boy ( I made up for it on Monday). I did not have a nap. Everyone was very proud of me.

On Sunday - Mommy went to a garage sale (and boy did she get red!) and Baba Christine and I had fun. Baba had to wake me up - or I would have slept longer than 3 hours. I am still catching up on my missed nap from Saturday - but Mommy doesn't mind - I sleep in now :)

I turned 19 months on Sunday. Mommy will do special pictures in a few days, for a new month :) One day, I was bothering Mommy in the kitchen, I do this when I become tired, and Mommy was about to take me to Miss Kathie's - she knew I needed a nap, and I would take one at Miss Kathies, so I gave up - went and watched TV. Mommy thought it was cute, so of course she had to take a picture.

Super Duper Sunday!

Hi Niko Fans,

Mommy and I had a great Sunday. It helped that I was in a great mood. I slept in until 7:30 am! We had to go visit Daddy at work, because Mommy forgot part of his lunch. I saw Daddy move a bus. He was really good!! We did not stay too long, Daddy was doing something at the back of the bus and he was putting fuel in it. After we came home, I took a two hour nap. Mommy and I had lunch and then decided to go to the Park. The Park was crowded - Mommy did not think it would be a good idea to join the fun. My social skills are getting better, but Mommy doesn't 100% trust me yet. We went back home, Mommy turned on Noggin for me and she washed some walls. Then it was time to go outside and play. Mommy filled up my "pool" and brought out my car. It is a rare sighting to see me on the car the right way. I mostly pull it. I had fun in the pool, but the water was too cold. We will go swimming sometime this week. We had a wonderful day!!

Hello Niko Fans,

We did not have a very interesting week, so we could not blog too much. That was okay for Mommy and I, because we need a week to relax after our vacation last week. It is also hard to get photos of me, since I am never in one place.

I have been a pretty good boy this week. I did learn a new trick. I climbed out of my crib for the first time. I only did it once this week, but Mommy doesn't trust me - she thinks I will do it again. I did it after my nap. Mommy heard two thumps, came to my door and I was waiting for her on the other side, laughing. Yes, I was quite proud of myself. Mommy did not say a word to me. She was soo stunned. I did not get a "good boy" or a timeout, so I am a little confused. Speaking of timeouts, I have been in a few timeouts this week for Mommy. When I bite, I for sure go in timeout. If I pinch too much, I go in timeout. If I throw a fit, and head butting Mommy, I go in timeout. Today was the first time, that I sat still in timeout. We are working on it!

Tonight, we went to grammy's and had ribs. They were good. I was a good boy! I got a little tired because Grammy and I went swimming earlier in the day, and of course I refused an afternoon nap.

Above are pictures of Uncle Dave's dog Lucky. I am around a lot of animals, and I am working on being nice to the animals. Lucky, puts up with me. I like Lucky, I don't think the feeling is mutual (yet) - but he tolerates me :) Lucky is my Clifford!! Mommy and I like that show. Have a good weekend!!! Love, Niko

Hi Everyone,

Mommy and I decided to blog about my high chair, or as Mommy calls it - my throne. I spend a good part of the day in this seat. I eat all my meals in my high chair. We thought the the throne needed a blog. Most of the pictures are from this seat. For some reason, Mommy likes to take pictures of me eating - maybe it is because I am smiling when I am eating. The throne has been to many places. We take it out all the time. I love my throne :) Oh, I also have started climbing in it and try to snap it together, just my subtle way of telling Mommy - I am ready to eat!!!

This weekend was busy, but very quiet too. On Saturday, Baba left us to go home. We had a great time and I was very good for Baba. Mommy, Daddy, and I went to Hunt Club (where Mommy used to live). It was okay, I got to go swimming :) On Sunday, we went to Uncle Dave's house and I played there for awhile. We did not stay too long, I was getting tired and Mommy and Daddy wanted to check out bathroom stuff. They are thinking about redoing the bathroom. Mommy wants to leave the condo BAD and find a nice house :) So, we are doing some things to get ready.

This week is back to normal! Hopefully, there will be a few blogs during the week!!! Have a good Monday :) Love, Niko

18 Month Check Up

Hi Everyone,

Daddy has been on vacation all week, and it has been a really fun, busy week. On Sunday and Monday we went to see Aunt Toni and Uncle Mike. I was a very good boy. Mommy was surprised on how well I did with the routine change. I slept very well the first night, but had some problems the second night. We went to the Zoo, which was very fun. I love my Aunt Toni and Uncle Mike. On Wednesday, Mommy and Daddy took me to the doctor for my check up. Stats will be listed below :) Thursday and Friday will just be Baba and I. We will have a lot of fun. Mommy is hoping to update again at the end of the week. Have a Happy Fourth of July!

Here are my Stats and Update at 18 months: 20.3 pounds, 29 inches. I have to go back in August for a weight check. Waiting 6 months for another weight check is too long, so we are going to do two weight checks before I turn 2. Mommy feels better about this. She is always worrying about my weight. Mommy also had to fill out a form about my communication and fine motor skills. I am right on track with everything. I am saying more words, and my fine motor skills are excellent. Mommy thinks my fine motor skills are better than my communication skills ;)
