Happy Halloween Everyone!!
We are very excited that Halloween is tomorrow. Mommy is taking me out. This will be the last year that we trick and treat at Ahmi's house. They are moving in a couple of weeks. Next year, we will be trick or treating at the condo. Mommy already told Daddy that he will be the candy passer.
This year, I chose to be a frog. Mommy doesn't really know how or why I came up with a frog, but it worked. Ahmi found a really cute costume. Mommy was also surprised that I actually told her what I wanted to be for Halloween.
We went to Boo at the Zoo last weekend. We will share pictures in the next blog. I had a really good time. It was a long day for me, since I took an early nap - but I was a trooper and stayed up the whole time. We didn't get home until 8:30pm!
I am pretty much back to normal since my fever. We really think I have teeth "growing" inside my mouth. I won't give Mommy a clear answer. I did have to leave Miss Kathie's house early one day, because I was complaining my head was hurting. My behavior has been okay. I got my haircut today and I was a very good boy. Mommy loves when I say "What's that?!" or "What happened?" I am loving my Thomas and I got a new backpack to put my trains and tracks in.
Niko's life is pretty good right now!! I am very excited for trick or treating on Sunday, I need to go to bed. Have a wonderful Halloween!!! Love, Niko

Dear Sunday, ......

Dear Sunday,

Do you remember the e-mail I sent you a couple of months ago? It talked about me being on my worse behavior. Well, I probably should stop being so bad on Sundays. It is starting to make Mommy and Daddy mad. Mommy has to deal with my behavior and Daddy's crankiness. Mommy told Ahmi that she is going to live with her on Sunday. I don't want Mommy to do that!! I am sorry Sunday, but I am going to have to break the deal that we made. Please tell Monday through Saturday that I will continue to be good - but now I have to be good for 7 days a week! I think I can do it. Mommy and Daddy still love me, but I do make their one day off with me a little challenging.
Tell Saturday, I can't wait to go to the Zoo. It is our annual Boo at the Zoo trip. Ahmi is going with us this year. I have had a fever for two days, but we think it may be the teeth. I ate so much better tonight - Thank you Friday!!

I need to go to bed, so I can look forward to the weekend! I get to spend the whole weekend with my Mommy and Daddy. Thank you for understanding!! Love, Nicholas A.

Daddy's Birthday!

Hi Everyone,

On October 6, Daddy celebrated his birthday. The day before I helped him open his present. The present was from Ahmi and I was quite sure I wanted to help. Daddy let me help him with opening his gift. We were both excited! I gave Daddy my cold, and Mommy gave him some news a couple days before ;) I think he had a pretty good birthday. There was only one bad part. We went out to dinner that night and I was not a good boy. I didn't want to stay and I didn't want to go with Mommy. Mommy had to listen to me cry for 45 minutes after we left. They did not want me running around the restaurant, but I would not follow directions. I was a little better when I heard Daddy's voice on the phone. We called him when we got home. Even though he didn't answer we listened to his voice mail message. We are hoping that one of these days, I will know how to act in public.
Mommy kept me home this week from the sitters. Kathie's granddaughter was sick and Mommy didn't want to take a chance of me catching it. I have been sick twice this month already. I got to play with Ahmi for two days and Baba for one. I am very lucky to have them!! I have been a good boy all week. Sundays are my downfall. I am not a good boy at all on Sundays. Mommy and Daddy are happy when 8pm comes on Sunday.
Well, I need to go down for my nap. I still take those :) Have a wonderful weekend!! Love, Niko

Hi Niko Fans,

Mommy is loving this time of the year. Fall is her favorite season. Last weekend, we went to the Blue Jaye Farm by Ahmi's house. We went on a hayride, played in a bouncy house, and left with a lot of pumpkins. Daddy wants to make pumpkin pies. I had one bad moment. I ran out the door and headed for the main road. Thank goodness there was a ditch to stop me. I made Mommy and Ahmi very upset. Mommy couldn't spank me, because she was grateful for the ditch. I did tell her I was sorry. The problem is... I don't understand what I did wrong. Every once an awhile, I will take off and always head for a street. Mommy and I working on this problem.

I am still cute as ever. I am a very good boy during the week. Sundays, I turn into a M-O-N-S-T-E-R. Which I mentioned these guys tonight, and Mommy told me that they are scared of me and won't be coming into my room again. I am getting more Thomas DVDs and engines to keep me busy and happy. Daddy thinks it's funny that I wake up talking about Thomas. He told Mommy that I must dream about Thomas. What can I say? Thomas is my hero.
