Mommy and Niko Day

Hi Everyone,

I think Mommy is done with her four day weekends for now. I don't think we will be having anymore snow days either :) Our next break is Easter Vacation. I don't know how well Mommy will be able to chase me though!
On Monday, we went to the Children's Museum. I was not on my best behavior. Mommy made the mistake by going right before my nap. BAD MOVE Mommy!! We did not stay as long as I wanted to - due to the temper tantrums I was throwing. Oops! Mommy and I both lived and learned that day. In the afternoon, Mommy did take me to the playground and I did have a lot of fun there. I really did not want to leave there either.
It has been a rough week for me. I was showing my terrible 3's quite a bit. Mommy still loves me and she knows I could be a lot worse. Mommy has started saying "no" to me a lot more, about toys and things I want. I am not happy about these choices, but she doesn't want me to turn into a spoiled brat.
Potty training is still non existent. Mommy is excited because she got a spot for the morning Preschool session for me, but I have to be potty trained. I have even stopped peeing on the potty. I used to go right away - but now I go twice a day for Mommy. What makes Mommy even more sad, I won't tell her when I have to go. Ahmi hates changing poopie pull - ups too. We are really hoping for a change soon!!

A little too Cold!!

Hi Everyone!

I think Mommy is trying to push Spring a little too early. We went to the playground today. When Mommy got into her car the temp was reading 36 degrees! Oops, but she already promised me the playground, so we had to go. Even though it was cold, I had a really good time. This has been a tough winter and getting outside is a treat for both of us.

I have been a pretty good boy this week. I am giving Mommy some big time problems about being potty trained. Mommy knew it would be hard, but not this hard! My biggest problem - I won't tell anyone when I have to go potty. I just go in my pull up or I hold it. I had to make Miss Kathie work for her money on Wednesday ;) I got so bad, that I had a terrible tummy ache and Miss Kathie had to work it out of me :( I was miserable for the rest of the day - but my tummy felt better, I just didn't want to eat. Mommy keeps doing what she is doing with the potty thing, and she is hoping I will wake up one morning and will click that I WANT to be using the big potty.

Mommy has a four day weekend! I am very happy :) I got to spend some time with Ahmi on Friday because Jacob is causing some problems for Mommy and she had to spend four hours at the hospital to get poked with needles. She told me she feels so bad when she does that to me every night. Actually, the shots are going so well. I don't make a sound anymore and I get to put a sticker on the calendar. Mommy is very proud of me on how well I handle the shots now!

On Monday, we are going back to the Children's Museum. Mommy's camera is ready this time!!

Hi Everyone,

We are very sorry for not blogging. Mommy has a lot to do and by the time she puts me to bed, she is only awake for another 1/2 hour. Mommy tells me that baking my baby brother takes a lot out of her! We are getting very excited to meet Jacob. I love Ali's baby brother Michael - so Mommy is excited to see how I behave around Jake.

I have been a pretty good boy. I have my 3 year old moments, but we deal with them. We are having a great time. The weather is trying very hard to break and we try to get out every chance we have. I love to talk! I say the most interesting things. I did develop a cold a couple of weeks ago, but I am all better now - even though I told Mommy that my tummy was hurting tonight. Mommy always worries about my tummy, because you know how she is and I never complain that it hurts, so we will see how I make it through the night. Mommy thinks it because of the current potty training process. I am in Pull Ups and I hate them! Now, we are out of diapers and Mommy told me no more diapers. Mommy thinks I put myself in a bind and I don't poop. We will keep trying with the potty training, but Mommy won't push me as hard.

Today we had a lot of fun. We took the vacuum to the shop (again) to get it fixed. Then we visited Daddy for lunch. We came home for awhile, and then we went to our favorite park for our winter hike. Mommy did pretty good. I had a hard time listening in some spots, but I did very well. We might go back next week. Mommy treated me to an ice cream cone. It was my very first one. It was very tasty! I made a mess, but Mommy did not mind.
