The Wheels on the bus.....

Hi Everyone,

Mommy is very surprised that she has not blogged about "bus"! Seeing, how Mommy and Daddy met at Cleveland Southeastern Trails - Bus Company. Mommy saw Daddy for the first time in 2002. For her, it was love at first sight, but for Daddy it took a couple of years :) Mommy and Daddy cleaned these big buses during the winter. Daddy works in the office now, and Mommy stays home with me - when not teaching. Daddy used to drive these big buses.

On the weekends, we visit Daddy - actually we visit the bus. I always hold Mommy's hand when we go in the garage. That's a rule. Mommy let's me push a button on the bus, and the door opens! It's like Magic!! I love seeing the buses. One day, Mommy even showed me my great grandpa's picture. She was surprised that I was looking at the old pictures.

I have been a very good boy this week. For some reason, my behavior turns to poop on Saturdays. This is the second Saturday where Mommy isn't very happy with me. I protested my nap, and had a few temper tantrums (ok, not a few - ALOT). After my nap - Mommy may take me to the park.

Mommy did get a call from the Specialist's nurse this week. She said I was a year behind in my growing. Mommy asked all the right questions, talked to Daddy - and they decided to do the shots. Mommy thought she would have to wait a few weeks to hear from the insurance company to approve my shots (they are VERY expensive) but they called on Friday, and we were approved. Bad part(s) - Mommy and Daddy have to give me the shots, and I have to have them 7 days a week. Once the medicine is delivered at our house (isn't that nice?), A nurse will show Mommy how to do the shots. I think once we get the hang of it - everyone will be fine. These shots replace a hormone that is missing in my body. If I never get these shots, I might not make it to my "true" height. We have to do it now - as I get older, the shots won't work. There are no side effects, and the shots are natural (no steroids). Mommy promised me a toy every week. That's the good part :)

I think I am finally getting sleepy for my nap. I put up a good fight for Mommy today. I am also not feeling well. I have a cough - again. Mommy says if it comes back again, I may have to go the doctor. Can't this woman just leave me alone?! Just kidding - I love my Mommy :) Have a good Weekend!! Love, Niko
