Mommy's School

The wind was blowing through my hair
Off to my next part of the playground

Ooh! Balloons :)

Hi Everyone,
A couple weeks ago, Mommy stopped saying good bye to me in the morning. Daddy took over that job (and he is pretty good at it too). I was wondering why my Mommy wasn't home in the morning - well today I found out why! Mommy has a very special job - She's a teacher! Mommy teaches 2nd grade and has been at the same school for 9 years. Today we went to the back to school picnic at her school. It was very neat. I went last year, but I was only 8 months old and not as mobile. When we got there, all her kids ran up to her and me. I wasn't scared. One boy even offered me some popcorn. Mommy told the boy we would be eating lunch soon. I had a hot dog and I ate the whole thing!! Mommy had to clean up quick because the bees were coming. I went everywhere at the picnic. They had a DJ and the 7th and 8th girls were dancing to music, and I joined in! Mommy thought it was pretty cool that I did that. I played on the playground, and went to play with the boys who were shooting hoops. Mommy took me out of that game quick. Balls were going everywhere, but I really did not mind- I like to chase balls. Mommy did not really have the time to visit with current and former students, because she was chasing me all over the place. She did get a chance to talk to some parents though. After the picnic we went to visit Daddy. We only stayed for a little bit. I did not take a nap on the way home!!
My sleeping has been really rough this week. Mommy celebrated her Birthday this week, and I gave her a big present. I woke her up at 1230am on her Birthday and refused to go back to sleep until after 3am. Mommy was a little crabby on her Birthday, because of me ;) My sleeping has been better since then. Mommy just keeps it routine, and tries not to have too much activity before bed. Bedtime is 8pm - no earlier or later than 8pm- I am good like that.
Mommy and I are loving the house!!! We had a deer family right outside of my window the other night when Mommy was putting on my jammies. I saw Bambi!!!
That's is all for now........ Have a good Sunday :) Love, Niko
