Zoo!

My First Zoo trip in August of 2008

Hi Everyone,
What a great Labor Day weekend! There was one problem though - two mornings during that long weekend, I decided to get Mommy and Daddy up super early. Mommy doesn't know why I stopped taking naps during the weekend and waking up at 3:45 am. I know she wasn't very happy.
On Saturday, Mommy, Baba Christine, and I went to breakfast. I had a good time. I am protesting my high chair right now - so I refused to sit. The booster seat is too big! I ran around and got into some trouble. Then Mommy decided it was time to go, and we went searching for a doctor for me. We found one! Baba chased me around the office while Mommy was talking to the nice nurse. Mommy thought I would take a nice long nap when we got home - nope, only an hour nap, but I had a surprise for her - later. Mommy took me to the playground after lunch. It was really fun - pictures to come. Then we went to the local library. Mommy and I came home and relaxed a little, then we had dinner. I was out cold by 6:45pm and slept unti 8:20am - and that was because Mommy woke me up (that meanie). That's okay because I paid her back the next morning.
On Sunday, Daddy, Grammy, Mommy and I went to the Zoo. We tried earlier in the summer, but it rained and we had to go home. I am also protesting my stroller. Mommy brought the "leash". She called it a life saver. I was able to walk around, but I have my limits too. I had a great time. You would have thought I would have slept until 8:20 the next day, but nope that was my 3:45am morning. Mommy thinks I may be teething again. At 5am, I laid down with Mommy and we slept until 9am. Mommy doesn't like when I sleep with her - but this was abnormal. I did not take a nap at all yesterday :) We had a cookout at Grammy's and Grampy's on Sunday. On Monday, Baba and Grandpa came over for our first cookout at the house. It was very nice.
That was my weekend. Mommy and I are both very tired. Time for bed!!! Love, Niko
